How do I go about reserving an inflatable from you?
You can make your reservation by calling us at 860-316-5617, 7 days a week or you can inquire about availability by contacting us.
What are your hours of operation?
Our office is open during the weekdays. Our customer support lines are open continually on the weekends. If you happen to get voicemail at any time, please leave your name and number and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
How far in advance do I need to order?
We suggest that you book your bouncer as soon as you know your scheduled party date. All units are booked on a first come, first served basis.
How can I pay for my rental?
We offer a lot of flexibility in payment methods. We gladly accept cash, personal checks with driver’s license number and phone number, and credit cards.
When do I pay?
Payment is expected no later than the night before your event, unless you are paying in cash. In that case, you may give the money to the person setting up your unit. For more information on payment options, please click here.
My party is tomorrow. Can I still get a rental?
It may be possible to get a last minute bouncer. Give us a call, and we will try to accommodate you.
Do you deliver to my area?
We currently serve a 20 mile radius from our business address, which is Cromwell, CT with no delivery charge. Deliveries that are over 20 to 30 miles will incur a $25.00 delivery fee, and deliveries from 30 to 40 miles will incur a $45.00 delivery fee. All deliveries include drop off and pickup.
What time do you deliver and pick up the bouncer?
Rental periods vary. The typical range of rental time is 4 to 5 hours or all day (7 to 8 hours). You decide on the specific time you want the bouncer set up by. We'll have the equipment set up from 30 minutes to 2 hours before the start time. Also, you do not pay for our set up time. All rental periods are jumping time only! Pick up is based on the number of hours you rent the unit for.
Is JML Jumpers Insured?
Yes, JML JUMPERS, LLC are fully insured and certified.
How safe are the bouncers?
Our bouncers are made with quality and safety in mind. All bouncers have a non-removable safety rule list. Our bouncers are made with durable 18.5 oz vinyl and mesh. This allows for proper supervision and reduces chances of injury.
Will you teach me how to have a safe day of fun?
We will review all safety rules with you prior to using the bouncer. While no one can guarantee safety, we do everything we can to promote safe use of our products to ensure your day is filled with fun.
Are the bouncers clean?
Yes. All JML JUMPERS, LLC Bouncers are thoroughly cleaned between each use. We are committed to making sure that your children have a clean, healthy, and safe environment in which to play. We also do a complete evaluation after each use to ensure that there are no problems with our equipment before it goes out to our next client. This way, you are always guaranteed a bouncer that is safe, clean and in good working order.
How do the bouncers stay inflated? All bouncers are inflated with a blower motor. It is important that the blower stays on the entire time the bouncer is in use.
How many children can fit in a bouncer?
Generally speaking, between 5 and 10 kids at one time may occupy the bouncer. This really depends on the size of the children and activities planned. We do recommend that same age groups bounce together, (3 year olds with other 3 year olds) in order to avoid injury.
How much room do I need?
You will need to add at least 2 feet around the perimeter, so approximately 17' x 17' for a 15' x 15' bouncer. We also need a vertical clearance of about 16-17 feet high.
How much room do you need for delivery of the bouncer?
We bring the bouncer rolled up, and wheel it in on a dolly (hand truck). We need roughly a 3’ to 4’ opening.
Can the Bouncer be used indoors?
Adequate ceiling height is necessary to accommodate the bouncer. Most gymnasiums and some halls are fine. Sand bags (additional fee of $25.00) are required for indoor use.
It's pretty hot outside. Does it get hot inside the inflatable?
Actually, it stays very comfortable inside the equipment. The moonwalks lose air with every bounce. What makes them bouncy is the loss and refilling of air. Therefore, it is usually breezy and cool inside. Additionally, each moonwalk has a roof that can be opened or closed that shades the bouncing area. We do recommend that additional steps be taken by you, to protect against sunburns.
What if it rains?
We do not operate our moonwalks in high winds or rain. If recent weather has caused the bounce area to become muddy, please make sure that you have a second location in mind. Safety comes first! If your event has to be cancelled due to weather, you will be called a few hours in advance. You may cancel at this time, and receive a refund of your deposit.
My yard slopes a bit- will that be OK?
Yes. A slight slope is not a problem. Typically, we will place the entrance of the unit at the top of any slope. If the slope is more than a little, we may not be able to set up at that location. Your installer may request an alternate location, so please have one in mind. The safety of the children is the most important consideration when selecting a setup area. |
